Frequently Asked Questions!
What is the cost to the school?
Nothing at all. The parents pay for their own child to attend the course.
I don ’t know what level of response you will get; would that be a problem?
Don’t worry, each course is Five Star Sports' responsibility, and at no loss or risk to the school. We will come and do a promotion assembly and hand a letter to EVERY child with a reply slip on. We will then come back and collect the slips of those interested.
We have another coaching company in at the moment?
Excellent. The more the merrier, let's keep the kids active at all times. There are 52 weeks in the year so we could run our course during a different term and give the children even more sport to look forward to. You'll find that we're all different so it's good to sample a range.
How many places are available on each course?
Every child who wants to join in is guaranteed a place, as our numbers are unlimited. Five Star Sports will provide as many coaches as bookings dictate. We work on a basis of one coach with approximately 16-20 children. There may be more than one coach per group where possible, particularly with younger children.
Are you insured?
Five Star Sports ensures that the Health, Safety and Security of all players is of the highest priority. The coaches are adequately insured for all risks, whilst additionally holding FACA Insurance and CRB's. Five Star Sports has Public Liability for £5,000,000 also. However, Five Star Sports cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage to you or your child’s property or equipment whilst attending a course.

Course they can! It doesn't matter what their ability or experience is even if it's his or her first time. Our emphasis is on having Fun, learning new skills, developing old skills and making new Friends.
What kind of kit do the children need?
The players are advised to bring appropriate kit, along with both trainers and boots (if available) and shin pads for football. School PE kits can be worn. The need for warm clothing and/or waterproofs is also recommended, as well as plenty of fluids and possibly suncream in very hot weather.
Can parents come and watch?
Of Course, all parents are welcome to watch their children.
